THIS TOOK ME FREAKING FOREVER!! It even annoyed the senior working next to me that I took so long on this project XD
This was drawn in pencil, then colored with oil pastel(only base colors, no shadows/highlights), covered with black oil pastel, scratched out the details with the the thiny you usually scratch scratchboards with, AND THEN, I had to add the middle tones/highlights in with acrylic paint....so its like a cheap way of doing scratch board...i think..(scratch board is expensive right?) I actually kind of enjoyed doing this..and actually people liked it, like the senior sitting next to me, although she thought it was rediculous that it took me like...2-3 months(once everyweek) to finish it while she finished like...i dunno..5-6 pieces of design...OH I HATED THE DESIGN PROJECT WITH A PASSION D: I dont see how she could of done that.....
I dont see why you have to take an art class to be eligable I dont have an extra elective next year because of TOK and Band...ARG WHY CANT I JUST NOT DO TOK T_T

you have to be in an art class becasue the school wants to show off what it's teaching its students, they want you to be proud of what you've learned but also want people to realize what you've been taught was taught to you by the school
they want visitors to say- "wow this school has a great art program!"
i dunno... seems fair to me you pay money to the art department and then learn and then they show off what great students you are and in turn, you keep going to art class
plus I think it'd be hard to get enough peices together for the show if you weren't in an art class not to mention- you'd have too mat everything and the teachers probably wouldn't all ow you to mat at school if you weren't taking a class becasue that'd be using supplies bought with the money of actual students

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
